I LOVED the Cape! It was my favorite place to be ever since I could remember "having" a favorite anything!! I loved the smell of the Cape, the water, the beach right at the door steps of Nannie and Grampy's cottage! I loved the colors of the ocean, the sounds at night of the bouey (sp?) bell gently rocking with the waves of the innlet we were on! We all, Mom, Dad, Roger and I, all slept out on the porch that was upstairs! You could hear all of the wonderful Cape night sounds!
Ahhh...(sigh) we were living the "good life"!
