Even the Deer family (5 of them) had fun playing in the snowy road right outside our front door! 3/09

Some pictures of our March snow. Pretty impressive by Georgia's standards. Just a crisp, refressing dusting of snow to this New England gal. Took this photos from my upstairs window using my new Nikon camera. Tried to capture the cardnial against the snowy caps of the pine trees!

Molly... even at 16, still pretty and dog gone cute! She doesn't miss much; she may LOOK like she's sleeping, but GROUCHY GIRL still has one eye on everything that's going on! Her favorite thing is to lay on the back of the couch, on her quilt, under the warmth of the lamp light.

This is "Grouchy Girl" (aka) Molly meeting Heidi. Molly is now 16 1/2 years old. She is a petite 5lbs, but has claws on all four paws and is NOT afraid to USE them! She is going deaf now, and "shouts" her meows...even though we ask her to use her "indoor"voice!

This is our newest addition to our "4 legged" children! Her name is Heidi. She "followed me home" one day about a year and a half ago when I brought my other 2 to the vet for their booster shots. Actually, we adopted her from our local vets, "Cat Care" Center who had taken her and 2 of her siblings in for four months. She came with all of her shots, spayed and a very sweet disposition! She fit in right away with Mattie, our #1 Male Maine Coon and our "grouchy girl" Molly! (who is old and grumpy)! Heidi definetly has Maine Coon genes, with her long fluffy "racoon type" tail and "feathers of fur" on all four paws. As you can see, her favorite place is curled up in a cool sink. This picture was taken over a year ago and she has grown to about 12-14lbs...still can squeeze herself into this small bathroom sink!
